自 2019 年 3 月 12 日或之後的 Microsoft Windows 累積和安全性更新，使 Dell Encryption Local Management Console UI 無法正確啟動或顯示裝置加密狀態的相關資訊。由於這些 UI 問題，加入宣告 （延遲啟用） 和伺服器加密不會提示啟動資料。

發生此問題的裝置在 Dell Encryption 本機管理主控台的「關於」功能表中，顯示「_UNMNGD_」的加密用戶端 ID （前身為 護蓋 ID） 和/或「_UNINITIALIZED_」的 機器 ID 。

Dell Encryption v10.2.1 版之前的因應措施是從 2019 年 3 月 12 日或之後移除任何 Microsoft Windows 累積和安全性更新。Dell 不建議移除修補程式，因為它可能會使電腦處於易受攻擊的狀態。
