S2722DC and S2722QC monitor users may report that their downstream USB ports do not function as expected. Ports 7 and 9 are the downstream ports.

Ports 7 and 9 require a USB Type-C cable (included) be connected to the USB Type-C upstream port (Port 5) on the monitor from your computer. This enables communication on ports 7 and 9 between your connected USB devices and your computer.

5 | USB Type-C upstream port | Connect the USB Type-C cable that came with your monitor to the computer. |
7 | USB Type-A downstream port | Connect your USB device. |
9 | USB Type-A downstream port with Power Charging | Connect your USB device or charge your device. |
