Planując replikację przy użyciu konfiguracji domyślnej, należy wziąć pod uwagę, że porty są również używane do innego ruchu, takiego jak we/wy dla dostępu do hosta iSCSI, migracji i pliku (tylko modele PowerStore T). W przypadku korzystania z tych funkcji zaleca się zaplanowanie replikacji przy użyciu dedykowanych interfejsów. Dodatkowe porty używają dynamicznej konfiguracji IP pamięci masowej z zakresu podanego w ICW lub dodanego w sekcji sieci PowerStore Manager.
