my people pc home page has disappeared

Hi. I'm throwing my self on the mercy of any one who can help me with this problem.  I had to change my modem (with the help of Dell technicians) I have dial up, People Pc.  When I went to go on line the first time after changing the modem I had trouble.  I clicked my People pc icon and modem activated and I was connected, BUT, my people pc home page never opened up, it  just goes back to my desk top on the monitor.  BUT I AM CONNECTED. To access the internet, I had to open up "Start" and click on Internet which brings me to peoplepc.  the little icon in the bottom right hand corner of my screen says i'm connected, but no home page.  i'm on line right now.

i've contacted peoplepc techs, but those people couldn't find a computer with both hands and a flash light.  they told me to change my access phone numbers.  i answered back that i'm not having trouble getting on line, but that my home page is missing. they have yet to help me with a problem.

the only reason i mentioned changing the modem is because i didn't have this problem before i change it.  i'm wondering if with all the tests the dell techs had me doing had something to do with it.  any way, how can i get my people pc home page to appear when i connect ?

thanks,
