Dell refuses to register my product!
Hey I need help and unable to reach any real dell support about thus.
My product <Private data removed from public view. DELL-Admin> apparently was purchased from United Arab Emirates and shipped to Egypt and I bought it from Egypt reseller so I was trying to register my product in Dell to correct my warranty date to the date I bought the device in since the laptop was abandoned in storehouse for many many months which leaves it with only 2-3 months remaining warranty.
But dell website is asking me to transfer ownership first from UAE to Egypt, and I did exactly that. I also received email with successful ownership transfer request via my email. Now I tried again to register the product and it keeps asking me to transfer ownership which makes absolutely no sense at all!! I am still unable to register my product until now because of this and warranty unable to be corrected to the righteous date and I gave my receipt as proof of purchase date!

Please close this thread. Dell helped me in updating the warranty so problem solved.
