[Help][Question] RST in AHCI mode

​Hello !​

​I have a Latitude E7270 laptop with AHCI mode chosen in BIOS for SATA ( instead of RAID). But the laptop came with Intel RST preinstalled. Since the laptop is in AHCI mode, I uninstalled the Intel RST.​

​Dell Command Update app constantly asks me to install Intel RST. I promptly ignore the recommendation. I never had any problem as the Win 10 OS has been successfully adapted to AHCI mode.​

​Do I need to follow the recommendation and install the RST?​

​I have another laptop Latitude 7390 facing exactly the same situation. But Dell Command Update app never recommended Intel RST. I wonder why RST is recommended for an older laptop E7270 but not for newer 7390.​
