Dell Laptop sd card
How do I insert my sd card into my computer? There is a slot that says sd/mmc on the left side of my laptop but there is a plastic piece over the slot. How do I open it or take it off to insert my sd card?

Press the plastic cover and it will pop out the dummy card that keeps bugs and other things from going in the slot.
You did not say what model this was.
If that does not work it may be one where you use a finger nail to grip and pull it out.
