XPS 8900, Issue with user manuals

Hello

Why is there no explanation for the vga port in the expansion card area on the back of the xps 8900? Furthermore, what's with the manuals for this pc? They all seem to refer to different model.
Thanks

May be that he see's it on the machine manual but does not have a card.

The other confusing thing is that PASCAL based cards do not have VGA or DVI-A on them.

You can still get Display port to VGA as well as HDMI to VGA.

I recommend this adapter for older monitors.

* I am not sure what that means. VGA has been around since 1987. The assumption is that everyone knows that you could use it to connect an older monitor via a VGA to VGA cable. The added video card has several video out ports, what specific video card is installed in your XPS 8900? If I misunderstood your question, please elaborate.

Furthermore, what's with the manuals for this pc? They all seem to refer to different model.
* Again, not following your confusion. When I go to the XPS 8900 page here; I see =
XPS 8900 Specifications PDF
XPS 8900 Service Manual PDF HTML
XPS 8900 Quick Start Guide - Windows 7 PDF
XPS 8900 Quick Start Guide - Windows 8 PDF
XPS 8900 Quick Start Guide - Windows 10 PDF

If I open XPS 8900 Specifications PDF, I see this as the address which shows XPS 8900 =

Many thanks for your reply, DELL-Chris M .

By posing the question,"Why is there no explanation for the vga port in the expansion card area on the back of the XPS 8900?, I am asking why in a manual that briefly explains the use of video connects for Display Port and HDMI ports, why was nothing mentioned - even the existence of the vga port pictured on the reference leaflet - much less any elaboration. In my opinion, it was a significant omission even in light of the fact that vga has been around since 1987. Furthermore the reference guide/manual for  this computer, gives a brief explanation for all ports on the back of the 8900, except for items in #8, the Expansion card slots. It notes that there are 4 ports in this area but unless you are already  familiar with items such as the vga, you get no help from this reference/manual.

Thanks again

Thanks Rockstars,

Does that adapter really work? I could use an additiona HDMI connection as the XPS 8900 seems to have only one.

Thanks again
