Symantec Antivirus configuration for vworkspace Profile Server
Hi Team,
I am using Windows 2012R2 Fileserver Cluster to host User profile which is also configured with vworkspace Meta profile Server. User profile redirected to Fileserver by GPO.
please let me know is there any best practice to install Symantec antivirus on Fileserver which is holding User profiles.
is it recommended to install Antivirus on Fileserver which is hosting Vworkspace user profiles.

Hi,
We do suggest to install only Virus & Spyware protection on server instead of all three features (Virus & Spyware , Proactive Threat Protection & Network Threat Protection).
For Fileserver or any other server we do recommend the same article.

I am Chetan Savade from Symantec Technical Support Team.
Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) client should be installed on all computers on the network, including servers. On servers, SEP should be placed in appropriate client groups so that specific management policies and associated exceptions can be applied.
