How to apply a VPLEX license file?
Hello, does anyone know or have any specific documentation on how to apply a license file on a VPLEX (VS2). I have been looking for documentation or detailed steps but cannot find anything. I see information on VPLEX Management Server, CLI, and Unisphere for VPLEX but nothing to show how a customer can apply a License file.

Gary there is no license file that you need to apply.

Ankur and HTH, coming from the Symmetrix/VMAX support I am used to the License process there and assumed it would be similar to VPLEX. I now work in the GBS Presales group. Thanks again for the quick responses.

Hi Gary,
There is no such license file to apply today like with some other products. It is metered for capacity proactively via dial-home, auditing, etc. So you shouldn't need to worry about applying a license file to use the product like you would for RP or Symm, etc
