Comparing Laptop Item Numbers

Dell is replacing my laptop after a lengthy service request, and I'm trying to compare the item numbers of the old and new laptops. Is there a good resource for looking these up? The 'names' and numbers don't show up in any searches that I can make sense of.

For example:

MODPWAUV5-1145G716WWLC7S 41H0F
MOD,GDE,PROD,MUI,SERI,DAO 7DDKD
MOD,PWA,U,VI7-1185G7,16GWW,7X2 HG7HH
MODPLMRSTUSCFFPR7420 KJJ28
MOD,LBL,INTEL,CI7VPRO,11,SMALL TK6CH

It's easier to use the service tags than to search by component part, but the answer is no -- there's no way to resolve these officially other than a database internal to Dell itself.

@ejn63 Thank you, I thought that might be the case. I haven't seen that the service tags provide a detailed breakdown for comparison, but I'll keep digging around. Thanks!
