Mac OS 10.11+Dell printer 1320C
Hello
Is the DELL 1320C printer compatible with OS 10.11 (Capitan)? The last driver update was in 2012.
I downloaded the printer driver and install it but the printer did not appear under the printers section in system preferences then tried to re-install it using its IP and it got installed but when I send a job to it, I can the error: Printer is not responding.
Any suggestions please?

Thanks Chris, I just got it working by trial and error. The driver is still good although it hasn't been updated for a long time.
In the "Protocol" drop-down menu, instead of choosing "IPP", I chose "HP Jetdirect - Socket" and it got connected.

Agreed, the last Apple operating system driver we offered for the 9 year old 1320c was on 4/24/12. So no, not compatible with the newer Apple OS. You should post on the Apple Support Communities and see if they can offer some insight on using the Apple operating system generic printer driver.
