U4021QW, macOS, Thunderbolt 4 stopped working, #2

I am experiencing the same problem. The monitor has worked excellently for two years, and now the Thunderbolt connection has stopped functioning. Even when using a Thunderbolt dock, it doesn't work. I have tried two different docks, one from Belkin and one from Dell (the TB16), but the Thunderbolt still won't work. Charging the laptop still works, but the monitor is not recognized. I have followed the procedure described in "Read First Before Posting,"Step 3 - but it did not help. I also have a Dell 3223QE - when I plug in the Thunderbolt cable, it works immediately - but not with the U4021. What else can I do?

To receive assistance from Dell support agents they need to first verify the ownership and warranty status. Click the blue "Get Help Now" on the right to start a private live chat session. Share the private U4021QW Service Tag with them.

* Turn the U4021QW off

* Disconnect every USB peripheral device from the U4021QW
* Disconnect every cable (including power cable) from the U4021QW
* Press and hold in the U4021QW power button for 8 seconds

* Reconnect the power cable to the U4021QW
* Reconnect ONLY the provided Thunderbolt 4/USB-C active cable to the U4021QW
* Connect the other end of the provided Thunderbolt 4/USB-C active cable to the already turned on Laptop Thunderbolt/USB-C port
* Turn the U4021QW on. What happens?
