S2716DG, faint white line

My S2716DG monitor displays a faint horizontal white line on the top of the screen. Not on the top extremity, but close, covering all the way from left to right. It gets more noticeable on white screens and gets invisible on black screens. I've now know 2 places (both on the top part) where this line has appeared (the area affected by the old line position now works fine), so I hope that something can be done without replacing the monitor.

I've used the standalone diagnosis option of the monitor and the line is still there, so I didn't bother test graphics card or the cables.

What could it be? How could I fix it?

* When did you purchase this S2716DG?
* Did you purchase it directly from Dell?
* There is not a fix or repair option. Dell simply exchanges it while still inside the purchased warranty period
* Reply to the private message sent to you by the DELL-Cares agent with the private S2716DG service tag, 20 digit serial number
