Typing on keyboard is super slow and delayed
My sister had someone "clean up" her computer and it is now slower than ever, including the typing. I will type and there is severe delay in the letters appearing on the screen and the guy said that he might have accidentally deleted the "typing function" when he was cleaning things up and to come to Dell to re-download the typing template? It's a laptop with XP, any help would be greatly appreciated as this is driving us crazy!

Run" Windows System Restore" and use a restore point that was created before the problem started.
Even though System Restore doesn't delete private stuff like documents it might be good idea to backup important files in case a factory restore should be necessary....you obviously have been experienced problems for a long time and a clean install might be a good idea......
