Can I upgrade my graphics card??
Hi,
Recently I have purchased Dell Inspiron 15R N5110 with "Intel HD Graphics/HD Graphics 3000 with up to 1.6GB Dynamic Video Memory" but when playing NFS Hot Pursuit I felt that my graphics were not upto the mark. So I want to upgrade my graphics to "NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 525M (128-bit) 2GB".
Please let me know is it possible to upgrade my graphics card?

Sure; you can verify that your computer is working as it should be.
Look at Windows Experience Index details. You can search for it after clicking start.
For example, if you only have 2GB ram then Graphics score will be low since it can't access the full 1.6GB.
My graphics score is 5.1 with intel HD 3000 and 6GB ram.
By clicking details I see my shared memory is 1632 MB which is max.
When using only 2GB RAM my graphics shared memory was only 712 MB thus my graphics score was lower 4.6.
I get more frames per second since I increased ram. 2GB is not enough. 6GB is overkill for me.
Your true computer performance can be estimated by running benchmark tests.
It is possible to affect stability by running benchmarks so don't do it unless your not afraid to play around.
You must verify benchmark test is compatible w/ your system.
You will get a score and can compare to many other's scores to see if your computer is working as good as it should be.
It is also good to run Reliability Monitor (search from start) to keep an eye on system health.

It is not possible to upgrade the video chip in this model unless you replace the system board, which will cost quite a bit - more than 50% of what the system cost in the first place (and you'll lose your warranty in the process).

Verify Windows experience Index total graphics memory is about 1696 MB. Can run 3D benchmark tests and compare score to other similar systems.
