Magnetic items and Laptop sensor

Laptop shuts down, loses video, enters hibernation, or sleep, blank screen when typing, when magnetic objects are nearby

The HALL sensor can contribute to no video issues, random shutdowns, or situations where a laptop goes into sleep or hibernate mode unexpectedly. This can occur when your laptop is exposed to magnetic fields from an outside source. For example: When an outside magnetic source is placed near the HALL sensor.

These items can include, but are not limited to:

Some cellular phones, mobile phones, smartphones, or other electronic devices (For example: The Samsung S6-S8 or Hauwai P20 with wireless charging, coil charging, and so on.)
Smartwatches
Active stylus pens with magnets
Magnetic jewelry or some medical bracelets that are magnetic
Other laptops or tablets that your laptop is sitting on or near
