Connection headphone into monitor
Hi,
I have st2410 monitor and dell xps9100.I want to watch tv on my monitor.
First , I connected hdmi output from my cable box into hdm input on monitor, and see excellent picture.
However,there is no sound,I tried to connect sound output from monitor into pc- does not work.
Also, I tried to connect headphone into sound output on monitor and does not work also.There is no sound...
How to use sound output for st2410?

As your facing the front of the monitor, did you plug the headphone into the audio jack on the far left? While connected to the cable box via HDMI and a picture is showing, open the monitor OSD (On Screen Display) -Audio Settings, what are the choices for Line Out Source?

Yes, I connected into audio output line.
Audio source has two choices Pc Audio and HDMI.
I want to try headphone first.Which options I should choose?

The Line Out Source should be set to HDMI.

You have it all setup correctly. There has to be some menu setting in the cable box to tell it to transmit the HDMI audio out of it.

I do not think so, If I connect tv to cable box with the same hdmi cable- everithing ok
