Symptoms

Solo due monitor esterni sono stati rilevati quando erano collegati tramite il dock WD19 su Ubuntu.

 

I proprietari di notebook Latitude 9420 che utilizzano il sistema operativo Ubuntu 20.04 potrebbero riscontrare il seguente problema quando si collegano più monitor esterni:

  • Il notebook non rileva tutti i monitor esterni collegati.

Questo problema si verifica nelle seguenti condizioni:

  • Si stanno configurando tre o più monitor esterni Quad High-Definition (QHD).
  • Si stanno configurando tre o più monitor esterni Full High-Definition (FHD).
  • Si stanno configurando tre o più monitor esterni ad alta definizione (HD).
  • Sono collegati tramite una docking station Dell serie WD19.
  • Il notebook è stato acquistato con il sistema operativo Dell Ubuntu 20.04 installato.

Cause

L'immagine Dell OEM Ubuntu 20.04 supporta solo fino a due monitor esterni sulla serie di docking station WD19.

Resolution

Nota: Si tratta del comportamento previsto per questa versione del sistema operativo Ubuntu.

Collegare solo due schermi esterni al notebook tramite la docking station quando si utilizza l'immagine di Dell Ubuntu 20.04.
