PowerDVD-Nutzer können auf Systemen mit Intel Software Guard Extensions (SGX) keine als Ultra HD-Blu-Ray (UHD-BD)-formatierten Videos abspielen. Dieses Problem trat auf allen Versionen von PowerDVD bis 17. August 2019 auf.
Intel empfiehlt, SGX nicht auf Intel Comet Lake- und Rocket Lake-Plattformen zu verwenden, da Intel dieses Produkt nicht mehr unterstützt.
CyberLink hat darauf hingewiesen, dass Intel die SGX-Unterstützung eingestellt hat und dass das UHD-BD-Format nicht mehr unterstützt wird.
PowerDVD-Versionen 18 und 19 sind die aktuellen Produkte und diese werden nicht für das Entfernen von UHD-BD-Funktionen aktualisiert. Die UHD-BD-Wiedergabe ist eine hardwareabhängige Funktion. Sie hängt davon ab, ob SGX integriert ist. Wenn die Hardware oder SGX nicht unterstützt wird, funktioniert die Funktion nicht.

Dies ist ein bekanntes Problem, von dem Intel und Cyberlink bestätigen, dass es sich auf PowerDVD für das UHD-BD-Format auswirkt. Dieses Problem tritt auf allen Computern auf, die PowerDVD verwenden und über das betroffene Hardwareprofil verfügen.
Wenn Sie ein System haben, das die Comet oder Rocket Lake Plattform oder die Intel SGX-Hardware nutzt, kann PowerDVD keine UHD-BD-Videos abspielen. Die Software funktioniert wie vorgesehen.
