On Intel 11th generation systems, users may encounter a no audio issue when making calls using Dell Mobile Connect (DMC).

Resolution

Update the Killer 1650-Intel bluetooth UWD and extension driver

To resolve this issue, download and install the latest Killer 1650-Intel bluetooth UWD driver and extension driver.

Download and install the latest Killer 1650-Intel Bluetooth UWD driver

  1. Browse to the Dell Drivers & downloads page
  2. Enter the Service Tag of your computer, or click on Browse all products and select your computer.
  3. Select the Operating System.
  4. Under Category, select Network.
  5. Locate the latest Killer AX1675/1650 and Intel AX210/AX200/AX201/9260/9560/9462/8265/8260/7265/3165 Bluetooth UWD Driver.
  6. Click Download and save the file to your computer.
  7. Open File Explorer and browse to the location where the downloaded file is saved.
  8. Double-click the Killer-AX1675-1650-and-Intel-AX210-AX200-AX201-9260-9560-9462-8265-8260-7265-3165_989C2_WIN64_22.0.0.2_A22_05.EXE file to start the install process.
  9. When prompted, Click Yes at the User Account Control (UAC) prompt (Figure 1).

  10. Click Install (Figure 2).

  11. Click Close after the Intel Bluetooth driver installation is complete (Figure 3).

Download and install Killer 1650-Intel bluetooth extension driver

  1. Browse to the Dell Drivers & downloads page
  2. Enter the Service Tag of your computer, or click on Browse all products and select your computer.
  3. Select the Operating System.
  4. Under Category, select Network.
  5. Locate the latest Killer AX1650i/AX1650s and Intel AX201/9560/9462 Bluetooth Extension Driver.
  6. Click Download and save the file to your computer.
  7. Open File Explorer and browse to the location where the downloaded file is saved.
  8. Right-click the Intel_Bluetooth_audio_offload_disable_extension_WHQL_Win10x64.zip file and select Extract all.
  9. Browse to the unzip folder of Intel_Bluetooth_audio_offload_disable_extension_WHQL_Win10x64 driver.
  10. Right-click the ibtHfpOffloadOverrideExt.inf file, and click Install in the drop-down menu and wait for the driver to install (Figure 4).

  11. After installing the new Intel Bluetooth driver successfully, restart your system.
