XPS 15-7590, right USB port inoperable
My right-side USB port no longer functions. The insertion of any device results in an error message, as follows: "USB device not recognized. The last USB device you connected to this computer malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it."
The left-side USB port works fine. It accepts the very same devices rejected by the right-side USB port.
Will appreciate any assistance.

Could be a bent pin or pins in the port, or it could be an electrical fault but repair is difficult to impossible. Whether the cost of a replacement system board ($200-500 plus labor depending on CPU/GPU) is economically sensible is a decision that's up to you.
