What's the point of premium service plus?

Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-14900KF, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090, 64GB Memory, 4TB SSD / 4TB SSD

I just got done talking to A support agent, I cant go into performance mode when i'm gaming it just crashes immediately I bought this rig to get the best performance I could possibly get in gaming but INTEL admits it has faulty product and the agent tells me "I understand your concern, but we can only proceed according to the system's workability." now I have no doubt that I have a faulty INTEL processor and now I just have to live with that.....I have all the bells and whistles premium support plus for what? for a lemon this is not okay.......I paid top dollar for this machine and your telling me to live with that. pshhhhh

Intel has released a microcode update that Dell has incorporated into BIOS updates for all identified models. These updates, available since August 16, 2024, on the Dell Support Website, are crucial to maintaining the stability of your processor. We highly recommend that you update your system to the latest BIOS containing this Intel microcode.

If, after updating the BIOS, your computer experiences blue screens or application crashes, please contact support by clicking the ‘Get Help Now’ button located at the bottom right corner of the page.

Important: According to this communication, Intel has extended the warranty for the affected models. Therefore, you will be entitled to support if you continue to experience issues after updating the BIOS.

You can review the detailed symptoms, affected generations, processors, and additional information by checking the full communication at this link Industry-wide Issue with Intel Core 13th and 14th Generation i5, i7, and i9 Processors
