XPS 15 7590: Fingerprint sensor not working anymore

Hi

Last week my fingerprint sensor was working just fine, but all of a sudden, I can't use it anymore.

I have this error.

I've tried multiple solutions : all solutions listed here, none working: https://helpdeskgeek.com/windows-10/how-to-fix-windows-hello-fingerprint-not-working-in-windows-10/

I've updated to the latest BIOS and reset BIOS settings to factory default: not working.

I've removed the device in devices list (it was hidden by the way) and removed its driver: I can't install it anymore since the latest goodix driver I downloaded from Dell does not found any device => it doesn't show up anymore in devices list.

If anyone has any idea on how to fix this issue, I'd be grateful.
