TOUCHPAD DOESN'T WORK, TRIED ANYTHING

Dell XPS 13 9315 - Touchpad has issues: only the cursor movement works. The following commands do not respond at all: taps or click with one or more fingers, scrolling, zooming, three or four fingers gestures, primary and secondary buttons. The touchpad is enabled, settings are right. Rebooting the device does not solve the issue. I have already performed a disk cleanup. I checked for driver or software updates: everything is up to date. Diagnostic tests do not detect any problems: I tried the f12 procedure when the computer boots, I tried running microsoft diagnostics and DellSupport hardware diagnostic. Everything is fine. I tried to follow the procedure suggested here: https://www.dell.com/support/diagnose/it-it/Home/Index/touchpad without any success: I can't click anything on the touchpad or scroll, if I try to use the touchpad anyway the test does not detect the problem. If I use the bluetooth mouse it interprets it as if the touchpad is working, which it's not the case. So the tool is completely useless. If I go to “Device Manager,” then click - with my USB mouse - on “mouse and other pointing devices” and go to the device properties, it says “the device is working properly” and that's not true. I have no viruses . There's no physical damage, the device has not been dropped or involved in any kind of accident. Warranty expired in april, but the device is in pristine conditions since it has not been used at all untill 2 moths ago, when I started to use it daily. So it's been used for two months. And it doesn't perform basic tasks already - and I'm mentioning only the touchpad thing because it's the worst for me in terms of impact on use. I can't even open the device up to check if it's dirty - since warranty expired - because of security screws... of course I'd have to spend money for that... but I doubt it could be since it has been barely used till very recently. It's the second notebook I buy from Dell and I have to say I am incredibly disappointed for the second time. Your devices don't last, even the shell has poor quality, they always have some kind of issue I, as a user, don't understand, IT experts don't understand. You find issues on the practice but not only there is no single procedure that works to solve every new problem, but it also seems impossibile to detect the problem, every time, no matter what you try. Once it's the keyboard, once it's bluetooth device recognition, once it's about booting programs... there's always something that doesn't work properly. And it always starts happening like 3-4 months after the expiry of the warranty, very conveniently. So it ends up in a waste of time and money.
I'd really like to know whats going on with this touchpad now, since it's so annoying having this issue and I use the notebook to work.
