I absolutely absolutely HATE the dell 4k webcam

I am beyond frustrated with this webcam, it was purchased as a gift by a friend. But the webcam keeps auto adjusting the brightness even though auto bright is disabled, the cam has just great reviews but to get ahold of an actual human working at dell is near impossible!

What an absolute pity that the webcam is not living to what I'd hoped would be a great solution to my current streaming. Previous webcam was the Logitech streamcam and that thing was bomb proof with little to no problems, eventually the wires just frayed otherwise I'd still be using it. Anyone else experiencing this issue or should I just flog the webcam for a better one?
