XPS 8700, move HDD to new system
My 10 year old Dell XPS 8700 died and was not compatible with Window 11 anyway. So I decided to directly connect its HDD (hard disk drive) to a new computer using SATA 3.0 to USB drive. I identified SATA port but it SATA 3.0 to USB available for purchase? Thanks. Lev.

You didn't mention the new PC model, but if it has an empty internal 3.5" drive bay and a unused SATA port on the motherboard, why not install it directly inside the new PC? Probably faster performance than using a USB connector.
Just don't expect to boot from the old HDD, either installed inside the PC or if connected via a SATA>USB drive cable/enclosure. Windows was installed on that HDD for the hardware in the XPS 8700, and that may not work (or work properly) with hardware in the new PC.
