Taskbar disappearing when Citrix applications are launched in ThinOS 2405

We have devices setup to launch a single Citrix published application and run in a kiosk type mode.  One of the requirements of this setup though is the user needs the ability to see the taskbar clock while they are working.  We've always had the policy setting to hide the taskbar disabled.  Since upgrading to ThinOS 2405 the devices now seem to be ignoring that setting.  As soon as the application is launched the taskbar disappears.  To test I created a device exception and downgraded 1 device back to 2402 (all other policy setting still applying) and the issue goes away.  This stuff is so frustrating.  Can we please get a ThinOS release that actually works without introducing bugs like this?

I am sorry to hear this.   Can you share some details about your policy settings?   I will try and reproduce and get a bug submission if I can.

Thanks

We are using Classic Mode, with the setting hide the Taskbar set to off.  The devices are configured to launch a specific application (Epic).  Latest ThinOS and Citrix Workspace installed. Also tested with other apps with the same behavior.  It appears to be specific to apps launching in a maximized window.  The issue should be easy to re-produce on your end.  My case number is 193083091.

Thanks.  I took a look at the case and it appears it has made its way to engineering for reproduction and squashing.    I have also let your SE know about the issue.

For anyone following, Engineering has reproduced the behavior and are identify the cause and scheduling a fix.  Thank you for bringing this up Rob.
