Someone explain wyse to me

Ive 'acquired' a wyse environment and need some info - im not wyse savvy!

Ok, so I have an image, which is deployed to 3 terminals, no touched in years

These 3 log in automatically thanks to a package/script that gave the device these settings.

I now need to modify the account they log on with.

If I modify this script and roll it out, will it take force or lose its setting once the terminal reboots?

Can some explain the methods required to update this XP image - remotely. I don't have access to a terminal so I couldn't log into it in admin mode by holding down shift at boot.

Im hoping I run the script and it puts it in read/write mode, then reboots after? I presume this is the function of packaging?

Can someone confirm?
