Firmware Upgrade Options
I am planning an upgrade of our VXRail, 4.7.212, I have the options of 4.7.526 and 7.0.132.
I can see it is possible to jump straight to 7.0.132
Table 9. VxRail 7.0.x upgrade methods
Installed version Target version 7.0.132
4.7.212 Local and Internet upgrade
What would be the advantage of only going as far as 4.7.526?

You can look at the release notes to see the difference in enhancements between the different versions. Here is the link to the release notes for 4.7.526 and 7.0.132.

The biggest difference will be whether you want to stay on vSphere 6.7 or make the move to vSphere 7.0. You may want to validate that vSphere 7.0 is supported in your environment before making that jump.
