WWN Encode tool and Chrome

Hi,

I'm not sure if this is the appropriate place to post this question but I am having issues exporting with Chrome once I plug in the seed number for VPLEX.  I'm using Chrome version 44.0.2403.125 and the Export routine is inaccessible.  Is anyone else seeing this issue?

Hi Thom,

Are you seeing a tooltip covering the 'Export Results' link? I'm seeing this behavior in Chrome and Safari, but it works in Firefox. I've just reported this to the team responsible for maintaining the tool.

Hi Sean,

That's exactly what I'm seeing.  I sat with someone using the exact version of Chrome and it's working for him. which I find odd.  Are you on Windows 8?  I am and he's using a Windows 7 machine.

Tom,

I was using Chrome 44.0.2403.125 (64-bit) on MacOS Yosemite. I just tried it from my VDI session (Chrome 44.0.2403.125 on Windows 7), and it's broken there too -- the tooltip covers the export button. Odd that it's working for someone else...

I'll let you know what I hear back from support team who handles this.

Hmm, that is odd.  I'n going to pull down Firefox but I'd still like to know why I can't use it on Chrome.

Greetings,

I am the Product Manager for the WWN tools. I saw that a case was opened on this issue and it referenced this thread. We will take a look at this. FWIW, I was unable to recreate the condition on Chrome Version 44.0.2403.130 on Win7. I don't know if that would make a significant difference but an upgrade to the latest might help; or at least determine if the browser version is relevant or not.

The issue has been identified and fixed. The fix should be in production by the end of this week.
