LED Light in the power button is not working
Vostro 3268
The LED light in the power button of the CPU is not turning on,even when the computer is working normally.There is no indication of white light whether the computer is turned on or off or it is in the sleep state.

Assuming that the system is working fine even with the power light not working, have you checked the cable connection on the MB from the i/o panel or it is possible that the LED is bad. Next question is has the system been working fine until this recent problem with the LED

One would have to replace actual power switch to replace led.

@Shashank7717 Even though the switch as shown on these sites seems to be labeled incorrectly, a Google search would appear to show this switch as correct. The switch can be found at Amazon here and eBay here. Possibly @bradthetechnut can confirm the part number.

I can't confirm the part # like some others do, but I was going to mention: Google "vostro 3268 power button" You'll see places like eBay, AliExpress, and Amazon have them. Tip: If the description says "laptop power button with cable for Dell Vostro 3268" or "Inspiron" is included in the description, you may want to stay away from it to make sure you get the right one. All of them come with cable attached.
