Dell Vostro 3681, which power source?

unfortunately this model like many other entry level Dell 3### desktop does not support dual slot width gpu including the low profile RTX 3050

the 3### is Dell entry level in Optiplex/Inspiron or Vostro.  It is very user unfriendly in terms of upgradability.  the x16 slot is right next to psu so you can not install a dual slot low profile gpu  unless you install a psu outside case.  the x1 slot has a closed end forbidding gpu install, and it is wired to x 1 lane.

the 3### sff is only good for low power low profile single slot width gpu such as the Dell oem Radeon ones.  Try to choose GDDR5 and not gddr3 oem gpu.  RX550 or R5 430 are some Dell gpu options.  RX6500 or RX6300 are the newest Dell oem gpu that would fit.

PS Optiplex 9020 SFF is a high end optiplex model which has a PCIex4 slot with open end.  so user can install a dual slot width low profile card in that model.

in summary the only way to install RTX 3050 LP in V3681 is to move psu outside case.  not everyone likes to do that.

unfortunately you can not use that old psu in this modern Dell pc.
