How to stop hardware scan complete with no issues

Hello All,
When i close my Dell Laptop Inspiron 5502, or it's on sleep mode it start's by itself the infamous ( hardware scan complete with no issues ).
I want to turn this feature off, how can i do it, im afraid that it may even happen when the computer is off !!!!!
This function is crazy and bound to create problems instead of preventing, because it'll always run a test, every day, on a healthy computer causing unwanted wear on the hardware ....
Please Help me to turn this function off, im suspecting it's a BIOS function but which one i don't know...
Thanks

Hello All,
I've solved the issue, i had to change on all configurations, of energy, buttons and lid to instead of suspend to hibernate.
This change fixed all the issues.

Thanks

BIOS (F2) > Supportassist system resolution . You can turn it off.

So next time your machine crashes or fails to boot, Supportassist hardware scan won't launch

But i think your problem is different

If it's in sleep and supportassist hardware scan is running on it's own.

Means machine is crashing during sleep

Use Hibernation time as 20

Also check in reliability monitor for last crash logs I am pretty sure the machine is crashing in sleep

Hi,

I set all the above to hibernate and the hardware scan is still running when I step away from my laptop. Any other settings that need to me modified?

Thanks
