Hi Me_EJN:

What is your Windows operating system [if Win 10 or Win 11 please include the edition (e.g., Home, Professional, etc), version (e.g., v21H1, 22H2) and OS build number shown at Settings | System | About | Windows Specifications]? When you go to Control Panel | Programs | Programs and Features does it show that you have the latest Dell SupportAssist v3.13.2.14 as well as Microsoft .NET Runtime v6.0.15 or higher?

When you run a manual Hardware Scan from the Home tab of SupportAssist is any other error message displayed (e.g., "An unexpected error occurred. Please try again later")?

If you only see that generic "Default scan - Error" message on the History tab of SupportAssist as shown in your image <above> then you might find more information if you run an ePSA (Enhanced Pre-Boot System Assessment) diagnostic scan as instructed in the Dell Tech Support video How to Run Dell ePSA | Dell SupportAssist On-board Diagnostics. If your ePSA scan(s) detect a problem write down both the error code and validation code.

Any ePSA error codes that starts with 2000-xxxx are listed in the support article Reference Table of ePSA, PSA Error Codes, and Troubleshooting Steps (2000-0NNN Series). If your error code does not start with 2000-xxxx it can be looked up online at SupportAssist Pre-Boot System Performance Check.
