Dell XPS 9500 can't reset to factory settings
XPS 15 9500
Hello!
I have a little problem with SupportAssist OS Recovery (v5.5.5.16458) on my DELL XPS 9500 (2020).
A few days ago I updated Windows 10 to Windows 11. But this OS not for me now and I decided reset OS to factory settings.
I pushed (F12) and turned on my laptop. When SupportAssist OS Recovery loaded I selected (Reset).
But, I didn't find (Reset to factory settings). I saw only one option (Reset and update).
Well, I checked hard drive and found all partitions for Recovery:
WINRETOOLS (partition)
Type: GPT Volume
Partition type: DE94BBA4-06D1-4D40-A16A-BFD50179D6AC (Windows Recovery Environment)
Partition number: 4
Image (partition)
Type: GPT Volume
Partition type: DE94BBA4-06D1-4D40-A16A-BFD50179D6AC (Windows Recovery Environment)
Partition number: 5
DELLSUPPORT (partition)
Type: GPT Volume
Partition type: DE94BBA4-06D1-4D40-A16A-BFD50179D6AC (Windows Recovery Environment)
Partition number: 6
All this partitions contain a lot of files.
What should I do in order for the SupportAssist OS Recovery to display the factory restore item again?
I think the problem in configuration files. But I don't know where exact.
SupportAssist Os Recovery v5.5.5.16458
Only one item for reset
All partitions are fine
