Low memory message on "phantom E drive" Need to know how to switch drives
I recently re-imaged my Dell Dim. 2400 and I added memory (in Nov). I consistently receive an error message that the memory is critically low. I added MORE memory (today). Now I have 1.5 GB, but still receive the error message.
When I looked at the system, it shows that my computer is running off of drive e (instead of drive c). Drive C is where all of the memory is, but I cannot seem to access this drive. It appears as if when I downloaded the drivers after I reimaged, everything stored on this "phantom" drive e.
Question: How do/Can I switch to the C drive? Do I need to start over? All of the downloaded drivers show as stored on drive E. Arghh!!!!
Drive E showed that it has 5% memory available, whereas C shows 48% available memory.
A special thank you to anyone who can assist me!
