Latitude 7200 2-in-1 running Windows 8.1 shows an "INTERNAL_POWER_ERROR."
I have a Dell Latitude 7200 2-in-1, which originally came with Windows 10. I decided to install Windows 8.1 using a USB stick, but after installation, it refuses to boot and shows a blue screen with the INTERNAL_POWER_ERROR code.
Here's what I've tried so far:
1.Entering safe mode – didn't work (BSOD).
2.Resetting the settings in UEFI – didn't help.
3.Changing settings in UEFI (TPM 2.0, Secure Boot, etc.) – didn't help.
4.Formatting the SSD and reinstalling Windows 8.1 – didn't help.
Can anyone offer assistance? Is it even possible to install Windows 8.1 on my laptop?

No, the system does not support Windows 8. That doesn't mean you can't install it -- but rather that you'd need to build a custom install media set, since none of the released versions will support this system. Windows 10 and 11 are the only supported versions of Windows.
Beyond that, Windows 8 is dead and buried -- it hasn't seen security updates in more than a couple of years, so it's completely vulnerable online.
