EMC ID pending
Hi all,
I just registered to EMC and used on PearsonVUE the same user account I used for other Oracle exams I took.
My question is: when will I receive the ECM ID? It is pending on my profile account and sincerely I don't know if I'm doing the right thing.
Moreover, can I schedule an EMC certification exam even if I don't have the EMC ID?

Hi Andrea, this is actually expected behavior as each certification program has their own program id schematic with Pearson VUE. The program ID is assigned by EMC and will populate in your VUE account after you take an exam.
You may absolutely proceed with scheduling your exam.
By the way, did you know there is an online practice test for every exam we offer? You can find them here, but remember, practice tests are best used when taken to gauge readiness for the exam and identify areas that might require more focus. Repeatedly taking the practice test only serves to improve one's score on this practice test and would not indicate mastery of the necessary skills.
