MS Office 2013
Recently had some software corruption issues with my Dell Latitude laptop E5570, tried various fixes including restore but none worked. In the end I did a reset which meant losing the installed software including ms office 2013. Didn't think that this would be a problem because I had the original activation key. The problem that I have encountered is that I cannot find a download source anywhere as it is no longer supported. Could Dell provide a download as I didn't get the CD's with the machine, or is there an alternative that could be provided?

That's unfortunate. I've downloaded it in the past from FileHippo.
You could ask Dell. Click on @DELL-Cares and send a Private Message requesting assistance. However, as that software is from ten years ago, they may not have any download available.
FYI: Office 2013 is now quite outdated and a security risk, since it no longer receives security updates. You could use FreeOffice or LibreOffice, which are compatible with MS Office file formats but are regularly updated. I now use FreeOffice and am happy with it.
If you still want MS Office 2013, try this download: Microsoft - Download Office
If you use a Microsoft Account, try signing in there, select Office for Windows from the drop-down menu and click Install.
Another method, though it may be outdated now: Download the Office 2013 installer - Spiceworks
And, if you want MS Office, you can buy perpetual licences from third-party sites for not a lot of money. See this article for details of one legitimate site selling Office licences.

You can find downloads of past versions of applications, including MS Office 2013, on sites such as FileHippo.

Thanks, will try those options tomorrow. I have been using Google docs this week which is ok, the only obvious drawback is that compared to office its quite basic. I have office 2021 on my PC so I'm just used to using it on both machines. The other thing is the fact that it is something that I purchased with the laptop, so feel its a bit unfair that I can't reinstall it.
I appreciate your efforts to help but like you say its quite old, so I could end up using Google docs.
All the best, Dave
