Is it possible to use Dell Peripheral Manager on a non-dell device?

Hi guys,

I recently bought a Dell premier active pen (PN7522W) to use it with my Acer Tramelmate Spin p4 convertible. The options provided by Acer didn't quite statisfy my needs, so I chose a different brand.

The pen works exactly as intended, it couples per Bluetooth, the default button actions function properly. Now I would like to change the assigned actions to the buttons on the stylus using Dell Peripheral Manager. Unfortunately, the software only shows "No device found" after opening.

Is there anything, that I'm doing wrong? Or is there any way to make the software work with non-Dell laptops?

Kind regards

Gerrit

The Dell Peripheral Manager User's Guide  states on page 20 is that the PC must be running Windows 10 or higher. It also states that it is not supported on ARM based PC (example = Microsoft Surface Pro).

ARM processors are a family of CPU based on RISC (reduced instruction set computer) architecture.
