DMC, iOS, headphones issue

Hi, I have a Dell XPS 15 9570 running Windows 10.

I have connected my iPhone with the DMC (Dell Mobile Connect) app.

All seems right. I correctly see contacts, notifications and messages.

However, when I start or receive a phone call, I can't use my headphones connected to the computer.

Indeed, on both Dell and iPhone, I can't select the proper headphones audio output.

I can just switch between iPhone and Dell speakers.

Has anyone else encountered this problem?

Thank you all!

Hi albo94,

Thanks for posting. Apologies that your system is not performing as expected.

Please make sure you have your phone configured correctly:

How to configure Dell Mobile Connect for iOS phones

According to the information I've read, it appears that only the internal microphone and speakers on the computer can be used at this time.

Hi Robert p,

thank you for your quick answer.

Probably, as you said, this feature is not supported yet. I've read that the Dell mobile connect app is quite new, maybe this is the reason. I hope in a future update of the audio management output.

I connected the Dell to an external monitor through HDMI and the only audio output option (of Dell mobile connect app) is the external monitor and not the internal microphone and speakers of the Dell.

Thank you again

Regards,

Alberto

So, you're saying a headset like the Logitech h340 USB Headset isn't supported using Dell Mobile Connect?  When I tried to use mine, the receiving audio coming in to the ear pieces sounded sped up like the old chipmunks recordings, and my voice going out sounded like a slow motion computer voice, real low and slow-mo.  It's too bad headsets aren't supported, they're really nice to use, if not for the in-room privacy they offer.
