Dell Update v5.x App Not Auto-Updating to v5.2.0 (rel. 31-Jan-2024)
Has anyone with a Dell Update v5.1.0 app (including Dell Update for Windows Universal, Dell Command | Update for Windows Universal, etc.) been auto-updated to v5.2.0 yet? I am asking about a self-update detected and installed by the Dell Update v5.x app itself, not via another Dell utility like SupportAssist.
An installer for current Dell Update Windows Universal Application v5.2.0 (Dell-Update-Windows-Universal-Application_GT6WW_WIN_5.2.0_A00.EXE, released 31-Jan-2024) was posted on the support page <here> for my Inspiron 5584 two weeks ago. Normally, there is only a delay of 3 to 4 days from the time when a new .exe installer for Dell Update v5.x is posted on that support page to the time it is offered when I check for updates using the Dell Update v5.x app.
As of today my Dell Update for Windows Universal v5.1.0 is detecting two other available updates for my system (which I don't want to install and always ignore) so the app appears to be working correctly. I know I can do an over-the-top update by downloading and running the v5.2.0 full standalone .exe installer but I'm just wondering if there might be a known issue with the latest v5.2.0 release that's causing Dell to throttle the rollout.
I don't know if it's relevant, but I uninstalled SupportAssist and all SupportAssist-related software (too buggy, too bloated) from my Inspiron 5584 about a year ago. However, this has never caused a problem with auto-updating of Dell Update v5.x in the past.

Good news.
My Dell Update for Windows Universal app finally auto-updated from v5.1.0 (rel. 31-Oct-2023) to v5.2.0 (rel. 31-Jan-2024) today on 19-Feb-2024, almost three weeks after its release. I was pleased to see it arrive since the full release notes <here> indicate v5.2.0 includes several enhanced security measures.
As far as I know I did nothing to trigger this update today (i.e., I did not download and run the full Dell-Update-Windows-Universal-Application_GT6WW_WIN_5.2.0_A00.EXE installer, and the update was not offered when I ran a check for updates from Dell Update for Windows Universal v5.1.0 interface) so the v5.2.0 update must have run "silently" in the background. I say "silently" because I could hear my CPU fan running at high speed this morning and suspected a software programs was automatically updating on my machine.
