Dell C3765dnf Color MFP - Offline?!

We've got 5 pcs and Dell C3765dnf all on a network. I can access the printer settings through 192.168.16.6, but all the pcs think that it's offline. Server names and ips look exactly as the did when all was working fine. Our crime was switching the printer off....

OK, if you have 56 pcs that did print to the printer prior to switching the printer off/on, then you probably have a local DNS issue. The question is, were the printers printing to a TCP/IP address of the 192.168.16.6 or are they printing to the name of the printer i.e. printer1234? If so, then you need to check and see if the printer has a "static" ip address and not dynamic. Which would be the reason the PCs think the printer is off line. That's where I would start.

Hopefully our printer Rockstars will chime in. Does this article shed any light? Here is the User's Guide. Page 72 discusses the networking setup. See if the manual has anything that will help.
