R210 Wont Boot
We have an PowerEdge R210 server. On going to the server today the monitor was blank and the mouse / keyboard was not functioning. (these are plugged into the USB slots on the rear of the server). I obtained a known working mouse, keyboard and monitor with vga cable and plugged into the front ports.
On a reboot the screen remained blank. no life in the mouse / keyboard. Unfortunately i had to do the manual power off and back on using the power button.
On start up, i pressed the power on button, lights on front flash briefly then the server seem to turn it self off. a second or two later, the server power up and appeared to go through startup although the monitor remained blank. Blue LED on the front and rear of server. No startup beeps were heard.
Anyone any ideas why this unit doesnt seem to be loading up.

Stujol,
I would look t taking the server to a Minimum to POST configuration. On the 210 that is removing everything but the following from the server;
Once removed power up and see if the issue is resolved. If so add the removed parts back one at a time to see if you can reproduce the issue. If you can then that should identify the part.
Let me know the results.
