Is the Dell price matching policy outdated?

Hello. I can't find any mention of SSD components being excluded in the price matching policy on Dell.com, but I received the following in an email after requesting a match through chat:

"I am sorry our pricing team have not approved the price match because we do not price match internal SSD drives. We only price match External drives."

It appears I was given incorrect info by the Dell approval team.

I tried a new price match request, but FIRST I had the chat agent confirm that internal SSD's are not excluded in the Dell policy.

I then explained the previous rejection by the Dell approval team, and the chat agent agreed to discuss the matter with their supervisor. The price match was approved.

Sorry. I can't provide the order info you requested, because I did not place an order after the approval team rejected my request for the price match.
