A fabric mismatch detected for mezzanine card B
Hi,
I hope someone can help, I've had a look around and can't quite find what I'm looking for.
I've got a dell blade chassis M1000e with a version 1.0 midplane, I've recently plugged in 2 M620 which will not boot with the error "A fabric mismatch detected for mezzanine card B".
Within the blade I already have several M600's and 1 M710 working fine.
Here are the details of the M620 and the M710:
M620:
Fabric A Yes 10 GbE KR BRCM 10GbE 2P 57810s bNDC
Fabric B Yes PCIe Bypass Generation 2 DELL PCIe Mezzanine
Fabric C Yes PCIe Bypass Generation 2 DELL PCIe Mezzanine
M710:
Slot 7, Fabric A Yes Gigabit Ethernet Embedded LOM
Slot 7, Fabric B Yes IB/10 GbE Flexible IB/10Gbe Flexible
Slot 7, Fabric C No
Can I just remove the Fabric B from the M620? Or do I need to replace it with a different card? maybe the same one that is in the M710?
Also I am unable to update the firmware on either M620, they current sit on version 2.2.10 and when trying to update to 2.9 I get the following error "Package verification failed RED007". Might this update help my cause?
