Mixed home lab environment with Dell and HP: how best to monitor clients with OMCI/Dell |Command?

Hey all,

I have the following rather odd scenario:

Home lab with two sites; I have a Dell OptiPlex 7040 running Windows server 2022 just until I can find a PowerEdge server of recent generation at a decent price on the secondhand market, and I would like to be able to have it be able to be monitored by one of the Dell OpenManage portfolio to keep me abreast of hardware issues, temp changes, and so on. My other server, which is the HPDL380 running off site with a site to site tunnel connecting the sites, so I'm thinking the following setup: the OpenManage enterprise VM running on the HP (I don't care about monitoring the hardware on that since my friend takes care of her for me), with the other devices on my network; the aforementioned Optiplex running as a server, as well as my Latitude 5410 being recognized by OM as clients via the discovery in combination with dell Command | Monitor. Am I on the right track, or is there something else I should be doing? Or, since the OptiPlex is running as a server, should I install the OMSA agent onto that instead? (I got that thing to successfully install on a latitude E6530 once. I was bored one day.) Any feedback or suggestions you guys have would be great, and sorry for the enthusiastic oddity of a network.
