Inspiron 3650 Win7: Use wired rather wireless connection
I hope this question isn't inappropriate as I have yet to buy the Inspiron, but I'd like to if I can assure myself that I'll be able to use a wired instead of wireless connection to access Internet. I have been researching the question all day and have found various answers, methods, solutions some of which are highly technical and others that are more user-friendly, but do not agree on the how-to or actually provide any how-to. My head is spinning.
So, before I plunk down a few hundred bucks, may I ask if there are any Inspiron 3650 (or similar) owners here that have successfully wired their boxes directly to a router without too much trouble. I am willing to permanently disable the integrated wireless if that's what it takes.

portia60,
The system will have a Integrated Realtek RTL8111H Ethernet LAN 10/100/1000 as well as a wireless card. This will enable you to connect through a wired connection or a wireless connection.
