P3223QE, use as a TV, how to output audio to a bluetooth/audio out speaker?
Hi,
I have a Dell P3223QE monitor which does not have an audio out port. Is there any way I can connect a speaker to this monitor where the monitor acts as a passthrough for the audio? Does this monitor support this feature via USB or HDMI? I am thinking of using a Fire TV Stick with the monitor which handles the Operating System but struggling with how to output audio. The Fire TV Stick does not have any audio output.

I do not see any way to do this. The P3223QE does not have any audio in/out capability.

I know this is not monitor specific information but could we solve it from the input device side?
Specifically, could an HDMI Audio Extractor theoretically solve my problem? Link eg: https://amzn.in/d/8PqlTtO
For eg, I connect my Fire TV Stick/PlayStation to the HDMI Audio Extractor and connect the Extractor to the Monitor with another HDMI cable.
The speakers could then connect to the Extractor box.
